“The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do it. Throw yourself.”

This was a blog about letting go. When I started writing it I was hoping to write as mother saying to her children, “go ahead, go and live!”
The title, There Is A Time, is one that is still seems appropriate. I am blogging about time and circumstance and what I’m learning from each. The subheading, A Time For Love, remains so true. Life is teaching me (pardon the cliche) that love is all there is.
The vision for this blog has completely changed. Life has a way of altering our direction and purpose.
Now, this blog focuses on the knowledge that life is giving me (through the challenges, struggles and joys that are mine). My life lessons, of course, are what I am blogging about. These lessons are those learned through my personal experience (for I can never know what you are learning or even pretend to try).
I continue to hope that my children go, live and become! Yet, I no longer think that I will ever truly let go. I’ve learned that holding on may be more of what I am called to do.
As long as I am breathing I need to let those who are important to me feel my devotion, acceptance and love. I am learning to let go and hold on at the same time. It is not an easy task!
I do maintain that a catalyst, for my own need to discover what life wants me to learn, began with the onset of writing of this blog.
I invite you to be with me. I enjoy sharing with you what I am learning.
